About us

Internationale Container Transport GmbH (ICT) was established on 21 March 1972 in Neuss. Since then we have grown to become an international logistics company with offices in Bremen, Ulm and Gera as well as subsidiaries in USA and India. Many years of experience in worldwide transport and expertise in Eastern Europe and the member states of the CIS are key features of our work. Together with our parent company, the Dutch Seacon Logistics group, about 1,000 employees ensure customer satisfaction day-in and day-out with Seafreight and Airfreight work, comprehensive project services, CIS transport, overland transport (road), customs services and warehouse management.

Corporate history of ICT

1972 Establishment of ICT and entry into the commercial register of Neuss

1976 Establishment of a branch in the USA

1979 First transatlantic container transportation

1985 ICT develops transport concepts for the worldwide shipment of leisure park equipment

1990 Establishment of the branch in Gera as a development office for rapidly growing transport need within the states of the former Soviet Union

1992 Establishment of branches in Ukraine and Russia

1994 Introduction of the ISO 9002 QC management system certified by Bureau Veritas

1996 bis 2001 Expansion of the CIS organisation with the establishment of independent offices in Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

2007 Establishment of a 100 % owned subsidiary in India

2011 ICT and its international affiliates in Germany, India and the USA are taken over by Seacon Logistics (The Netherlands)
